В исследовании влияния глицина на умственные способности добавка улучшала эпизодическую память и успешность выполнения заданий, где требуется концентрация внимания. От срывов при алкогольной зависимости блокирование работы глицина тоже не спасает. А вот при нейропатической боли, которая возникает из-за неправильной работы нейронов, а не из-за физического повреждения тканей, антагонист — соперник, блокирующий рецепторы глицина, — не оказал эффекта. Японские ученые попробовали применять глицин против гиперурикемии (повышенного содержания мочевой кислоты в крови).

Нацпроект предусматривает меры по развитию и внедрению биотехнологий в агропромышленном комплексе, ветеринарии, промышленности, экологии, лесопромышленном комплексе, медицине и энергетике. Национальный проект «Биоэкономика» направлен на рациональное использование биологических ресурсов и применение биотехнологий в научной, технологической и экономической деятельности. Для этого необходимо объединить множество игроков, найти точки соприкосновения и оптимизировать взаимодействие между участниками рынка. Новый национальный проект призван создать условия и научную инфраструктуру для разработки прорывных биотехнологий и запустить технологические цепочки по их внедрению в экономику.

    В преддверии Форума будущих технологий состоится научная конференция, посвященная перспективным исследованиям в области биоэкономики. Поэтому сама возможность оказывать какое-то действие на мозг и мыслительные процессы у глицина сомнительна. На группе всего из 22 пациентов получены данные, что глициновая пудра лучше бикарбоната натрия борется с бактериальным налетом в ротовой полости, но надо дополнительно изучить этот метод, подтверждая его безопасность и действие на выборках побольше. У него есть и свой персональный рецептор, глициновый, который, однако, особой верности ему не хранит и не прочь активироваться и другими простейшими аминокислотами. Кроме того, мы исследуем влияние природы растворителя на их люминесцентные свойства», — рассказывает участник проекта, поддержанного грантом РНФ, Арина Ольбрых, сотрудник лаборатории гидридов металлов Института элементоорганических соединений имени А.Н.

Все-таки у глицина есть очень много эффектов на организм, порой противоположных. В целом это согласуется с результатами более свежих работ, но делать выводы и вводить метод в клиническую практику пока рановато. Кохрейновская библиотека — база данных международной некоммерческой организации «Кохрейновское сотрудничество», участвующей в разработке руководств Всемирной организации здравоохранения. Но есть и другой способ — снизить обратный захват глицина нервными клетками, чтобы как можно больше его попадало на рецепторы.

    Поэтому период полувыведения глицина составляет от получаса до четырех часов, варьируясь в зависимости от дозировки и других факторов. Включая этот рецептор, глицин влияет на транспорт через него ионов хлора и подавляет возбуждение (особенно сильно он работает в стволе мозга и спинном мозге). Правда, в составе белков глицина довольно мало (за исключением коллагена).

    Также аминокислота участвует и в работе рецептора NMDA — то есть помогает глутамату, который сам не справляется, «открыть ворота» для потока ионов. Кстати, именно это действие нейтрализуется кофеином, который не просто бодрит нас, а не дает затормаживаться. Но кроме этого, глицин участвует в синтезе порфиринов (среди этих веществ — гем, который держит кислород в гемоглобине) и работает нейромедиатором. В организме он, конечно, может разными путями разрушаться, но по умолчанию аминокислота — это уже строительный «кирпичик» для сборки любых белков. Кроме того, такой метод легко масштабируем, благодаря чему он позволит получать большие количества спироциклических изоксазолинов для расширенных биологических испытаний, которые помогут лучше понять механизм противоопухолевого и антимикробного действия этих соединений. Исследователи предложили метод, при котором мягким окислителем выступает нитрогруппа, уже содержащаяся в соединении-предшественнике.

    По результатам лекарство признали безопасным и снижающим негативные симптомы шизофрении. Этим путем пошли авторы исследования 2016 года, где поучаствовало уже больше 100 пациентов (а длились испытания 52 недели). Пациентам назначали пищевую добавку — глицин вместе с другой аминокислотой, триптофаном. Здесь глицин (в дозировке 0,8 г на килограмм массы тела) исследуется как средство от симптомов психоза. Иногда группе контроля дают другой препарат с уже доказанной эффективностью, а не плацебо, чтобы показать, что препарат не просто лечит лучше, чем ничего, но и превосходит аналоги. Ниже мы обсудим двойные слепые контролируемые исследования, которых среди тысяч экспериментов оказалось не так уж много.

    Правда, хоть упоминаний глицина в PubMed тысячи, среди них практически нет его клинических испытаний в качестве лекарства. Допустим, от этого мы убедимся, что стоило бы есть побольше глицина. Учитывая «расходы» на синтез коллагена, где глицина используется очень много, человеку массой 70 кг нужно до десяти граммов глицина в день. Среднестатистическая диета включает около двух граммов глицина.

    Вероятность, что действие все же существует, есть, хоть и очень мала. Ждать от него каких-то лекарственных свойств и тем более ноотропных чудес не следует. Несмотря на то что Глицин в России зарегистрирован и продается как медицинский препарат, в реальности это обычная аминокислота, которую мы не только получаем с пищей, но и сами умеем синтезировать в организме.
